HostBridge Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HostBridge (“we,” “our,” “us”), and all related services provided through our website www.hostbridge.co. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
• By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Services Provided

HostBridge provides:

• Domain registration and management.
• Web hosting (shared, SME plans, VPS, dedicated, etc.).
• Email hosting and related digital services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at our discretion.

3. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration and keep it updated.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login details.
• Use services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
• Avoid activities such as spamming, phishing, hosting malware, or distributing illegal content.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4. Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and passwords.
• HostBridge will not be liable for loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access due to your negligence.

5. Payments & Billing

• All services are billed in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.
• Payment must be completed before activation or renewal of services.
• Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.
• Failure to pay on time may result in suspension or termination of services.

6. Renewals & Expiry

• Domains and hosting accounts must be renewed 48-72 hours before their expiration dates to avoid loss of data and services.
• Expired accounts may be permanently deleted after the grace period. HostBridge will not be liable for lost data once services expire.

7. Service Availability

• We strive to provide 99.9% uptime on hosting services.
• Downtime caused by scheduled maintenance, third-party failures, or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) will not count against uptime guarantees.

8. Data & Backups

• Clients are responsible for maintaining their own data backups.
• HostBridge may perform routine backups but does not guarantee full data recovery in all situations.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• Payments are overdue.
• You violate these Terms, applicable laws, or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Your use poses a risk to our infrastructure or other users.

10. Limitation of Liability

• HostBridge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability in any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the incident.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HostBridge, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of laws, or breach of these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Our services may integrate or link to third-party providers. We are not responsible for the performance, privacy, or security practices of those third parties.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
